• Strict code of honor: many Boborians who can't uphold it are banned and end up as pirates.
• The Boborians never attack unless provoked, always defend their allies, and never break the Galactic Code.
• Very fertile: they have many children, but mating cycle is dependent on solar flares.
• Can’t lie: skin changes color very slightly according to feeling; only boborians can detect it, but this means they’ve never learned to lie
• Enjoy hunting (don’t breed animals): but hunt using hi-tech.
• They use Boborianangas as pets (as if they were dogs).
• They had their homeworld destroyed by the Grox and escaped to a new sector; had to recreate most of the flora and fauna genectically, with the help of the Ezellon.
• Boborian animals have many adaptations to the solar flares: reflexive carapaces to protect internal organs; chubby antennae that warn about incoming flares, etc.
